New tenant at Link Park, Newhouse
Fusion Assets is delighted to announce that global traffic management company Yunex Traffic has taken a 10-year lease of Building 2 at Link Park, Newhouse. The company will consolidate its existing Edinburgh and Glasgow depots into a state-of-the-art service centre bringing around 70 staff together at the new centralised facility in North Lanarkshire.
The 15,500 sqft building was developed by Fusion Assets and completed at the beginning of the year by Muir Group. The building has been designed and constructed on the basis of being net zero carbon enabled, making use of the latest energy saving materials and equipment including photo voltaic panels on the roof, electric vehicle charging points and high-performance insulation and glazing to achieve an EPC A rating.
The new unit was placed under offer shortly after completion and the letting is testimony to the site’s excellent location, energy saving specification and quality of building product. The land at Link Park was previously a vacant brownfield site prior to being remediated and developed out as a major new manufacturing and logistics scheme by Fusion Assets with financial support from the Scottish Government’s Vacant and Derelict Land Fund for North Lanarkshire.
Fusion Assets would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge and thank our property agents on the successful letting of Building 2 – Iain Davidson of Colliers and Stephen St Clair of Rosslyn Property Limited. Also, a big thank you to our lawyers who dealt with the lease negotiations – Graeme Bradshaw and Michael Stewart of Burness Paull LLP.
