Gartcosh planning application submitted

Fusion Assets has submitted a detailed planning application for a speculative industrial development on the former Gartcosh steelworks site in North Lanarkshire. The 40,000 sqft single user building represents the fourth phase of development at Gartcosh Industrial Park.

Phase 1 was developed by Gartcosh Estates LLP, a joint venture between Fusion Assets and J. Smart & Co. (Contractors) PLC and the investment sold in April 2024. Fusion Assets have subsequently undertaken a further package of enabling works on the site through the North Lanarkshire Council Vacant and Derelict Land Programme which is funded by The Scottish Government.
