Following a competitive bidding process, Fusion Assets has been successful in securing nearly £1 million from the Scottish Government’s Regeneration Capital Grant Fund, to allow the company to begin construction of a 20,000 sqft industrial building at Link Park, Newhouse. The new building, which will be split into three or four units with a shared service yard, is designed to provide modern premises for new or expanding businesses in the local area. The grant to enable construction of the first building will be used to kick start the development of the remainder of the site, which currently has planning approval for some 80,000 sqft of industrial and distribution space over five separate buildings, with further phases of development in the pipeline.
Fusion Assets is in the process of completing a programme of advanced infrastructure works across the two plots of land at Link Park to create platformed and serviced sites ready for development.
