Fusion Assets is delighted to announce that Advance Construction Scotland have been appointed as the contractor to undertake the Phase 3 programme of enabling works at Gartcosh Industrial Park. The works package includes site platforming, strategic drainage, multi-utilities servicing the development plots and the construction of a new access road. The works contract also incorporates a community benefits clause which will see Advance Construction work with North Lanarkshire Council to deliver local training and work experience placements.
The enabling works at Gartcosh Industrial Park are being undertaken with grant support from the Scottish Government through the North Lanarkshire Vacant and Derelict Land Programme. Fusion Assets purchased the land and obtained planning approval for Phase 3 earlier in 2022 for the construction of four new industrial units totalling 62,000 sqft.
