In October 2014, Fusion Assets acquired a high profile 6.25 acre site at Gartcosh Business Interchange from Scottish Enterprise. The development plot is situated at the entrance to the Gartcosh site and benefits from having detailed planning permission for the first phase of development, consisting of three industrial units totalling 61,000 sqft. This site represents the next stage in Fusion Assets business strategy as it seeks to provide larger speculative industrial units between 10,000 -30,000 sqft in response to ongoing market demand and a shortage of modern premises in North Lanarkshire.
Fusion Assets have appointed contractor RJ Macleod to undertake a programme of advanced infrastructure works funded by the Scottish Governments Vacant and Derelict Land Fund.
